Reared from woolly galls of Andricus quercusflocci ( Walsh, 1864 ) [= A. flocci ( Osten-Sacken, 1865 ) ] on leaves of white oaks ( Fitch 1859 ), probably the North American eastern white oak Quercus alba ( Burks 1979 ) . Remarks . The type material of Synergus quercuslana was examined and the species was redescribed and illustrated by Lobato-Vila et al . (2020b: 705) .
