USA : Colorado ( Gillette 1896 ; Lobato-Vila et al . 2019) and New Mexico (Lobato-Vila et al . 2019). Biology . Reared from tuberous galls on twigs of Callirhytis frequens (Gillette, 1892) ( Gillette 1896 ) . Remarks . The type material of Synergus incisus was examined and the species was redescribed and illustrated by Lobato-Vila et al . (2019: 216). The host plant is not mentioned in the original description, but C . frequens is associated with oaks of the Quercus section ( Burks 1979: 1102 ): Q. gambelii , Q. havardii , and ‘ Q. undulata ’ (which could be either Q. sinuata or Q. gambelii ).
