These species were restricted to the Andes, from Bolivia to Colombia , the coastal ranges of Venezuela , and extend northwards in the cordilleras of Panama and Costa Rica in Central America ( Márquez et al . 2000 ; Weksler et al . 2006 b; Prado & Percequillo 2013 ; Percequillo 2015e ).
