DESCRIPTION. — Among the species with apical processes arising above the apical margin of elytra and projecting well beyond the abdomen, and with setose prementum,
E. ambrymensis
is distinguished by being of a uniform black with large shiny granules and very small scales that leave most of the integument exposed.
Length: 14.0-16.0 mm.
