Lectotype (designated here):— BOLIVIA . La Paz , Apolo , 15 April 1910 , R . S .Williams 167 ( lectotype : K 000512029 !; isolectotype : NY !). Nomenclatural notes:— The protologue does not state the herbarium where the type of F. wuiana was deposited. Berg & Villavicencio (2004) indicated Williams 167 (NY) as the holotype ; however, this cannot be considered a valid lectotypification because it occurred after 2001 and the required statement “designated here” or similar phrase were not used ( Turland et al. 2018 , Art. 7.11). Here, we validly designate the specimen Williams 167 (K 512029) as a lectotype . Taxonomical notes:— Ficus wuiana was synonimized with Ficus velutina by Carauta (1989) and with F. trigona by Berg & Villavicencio (2004) . This last synonym was accepted by Berg (2009) .
