Diagnosis.
Species easily recognized by its small size and wide lateral yellow band on elytra.
Description.
Body length
7.5 mm
. Dorsal surface with dense yellow pubescence. Coloration of head and pronotum metallic dark green. Narrow lateral margin of pronotum yellow. Mouthparts, antennomeres and legs yellow. Antennomeres IV–XI slightly darker. Elytra metallic dark green, with wide yellow lateral band, extended from epipleura to 5th stria. Ventral surface black, except wide yellow lateral band on all abdominal segments and propleuron.
Head shiny, moderately punctate near eyes and on vertex, frons smooth. Pronotum microreticulate, dull. Punctation on disc dense and regular, punctures of more or less similar size and separated by no more than their diameters. Lateral margins very narrow. Elytral striae narrow, finely punctate. Intervals slightly convex.
