This species is somewhat similar to L . angusta in the color patterns of abdominal tergites ( Fig. 4 D, 4E), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the mesonotum yellow ( Fig. 1 J), the aedeagus thick and pubescent on distal 1/3 ( Fig. 6 B). Description. Male and female: Frons yellow to yellowish brown. Pedicel mostly yellow; first flagellomere yellowish. Palpus light brown in male and female. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 2 G). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 2 H). Scutellum nearly yellow ( Fig. 2 G). Pleura yellow below, brownish yellow above ( Fig. 2 G, 2H). Halter brownish yellow, white apically ( Fig. 2 H). Abdominal tergites yellow, with brown patches ( Fig. 4 D, 4E). Male terminalia: Epandrium with 14 setae near posterior margin and ventral corner per side ( Fig. 6 A). Paramere lacking sensilla ( Fig. 6 B Measurements.
