Galumna duplex
sp. nov.
Diagnosis
Rostrum widely rounded. Surface partly finely striate. Lamellar and sublamellar lines well developed. Interlamellar setae long, slightly bacilliform. Sensillus long, its head lanceolate, pilose. Dorsosejugal suture well developed. On the notogaster four pairs of areae porosae and 10 pairs of setal alveoli present. All ventral setae minute. Lyrifissures

in adanal position. A pair of large postanal porose areas present. All legs tridactylous.

Measurements
Length of body 512–625 Mm, width of body 462–503 Mm.
Prodorsum
Rostral part of prodorsum wide, without characteristic apex. Basal part of prodorsum striated, ornamented by short, fine, dense dashes. Lamellar and sublamellar lines long, easily observed. Rostral and lamellar setae long, setiform, with fine distal end, lamellar setae arising between the lamellar and sublamellar lines. Interlamellar setae also long, slightly thicker than the preceding ones, blunt at tip. All three pairs distinctly pilose. Peduncle of the sensillus conspicuously long, thin, its head small, lanceolate, finely pilose.
Notogaster
Inner surface of the pteromorphae also finely striate, some stronger lines, directed outwards also observable (
Figure 11A
). Dorsosejugal suture distinct, its median part hardly convex, nearly straight. Sejugal porose area small. Ten pairs of setal alveoli and four pairs of areae porosae present. Porose area

located marginally. Males with rounder porose areas than the females.

Galumna duplex
sp. nov.
(A) Body in dorsal view, (B) body in ventral view, (C) postetrior part of ventral plate, (D) prodorsum in lateral view.
Lateral part of podosoma
Both prodorsal lines well developed, gradually arching towards the margin of the coxisternal region (
Figure 11D
), running parallel to each other. Line L not reaching the insertion of interlamellar seta. Pedotecta I narrow. Circumpedal carina also conspicuously thick, reaching the lateral margins of the ventral plate.
Ventral regions
(
Figure 11B
)
Epimeral borders and apodema weakly developed, short. Epimeral surface ornamented by some irregular spots. Four pairs of epimeral setae present, all except setae

minute, the latter directed inwards, longer and distinctly ciliate. Three pairs of setae inserted on the anterior margin of the genital plates. Lyrifissures
iad
located at the anal aperture. A pair of conspicuously large, elongated, oval areae porose

present, located far from each other (
Figure 11C
).
Legs
All legs tri- and heterodactylous.
Remarks
The new species is well characterized by the long interlamellar setae, by the form of the sensillus, the prodorsal and the notogastral ornamentation, and first of all, two postanal porose areas. These features are unknown in this genus.
Etymology
It is named after the conspicuous number of postanal porose areas.
