Trevis. * Veraguas : Loc. 12 , on bark of young tree, s. per., 34291 . A widespread tropical American species, from Panama so far known from the Canal Zone , Colon and Darién . The plants are about 4.5 mm wide and have a 6–7 cells wide ventral merophyte; however, due to lack of perianths, the specimen could not be assigned to a subspecies of S. transversale .
