Specimens examined: Sud Mennucci ( 20°39' S , 50°54' W ), October 2007 , on M . minutiflora (3 Ƥ). Remarks: This species was previously known from Australia , Philippines and Hawaii. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description. This species was originally described from a grass. This is the first record of this species in the American continent.
