Additions and corrections to the description.
Detailed nymphal characters of
Nigrobaetis paramakalyani
are mentioned in
Kubendran
et al
. (2015)
. However, there are several errors in the description made. The addition and corrections to the description are listed as follows: i) posterior margin of tergum with long and apically blunt triangular spines on segments I to X (
Fig. 4C
); ii) gill IV elongated with dark margin, relatively long setae and serrated all along margins, tracheation well visible but poorly divided (
Fig. 4E
); iii) paraproct with 9–10 marginal spines (
Fig. 4D
).
