Branchlets terete, 3-4 mm in diameter, densely brown stellate-furfuraceous; nodes swollen, with interpetiolar line; internodes 7-8 cm long. Leaves: petioles flattened, 8-10 mm long, densely brown stellate-furfuraceous; blades ovate-oblong, 7.8-12
