Notes
A perennial grass native to North America which is used as an ornamental in Europe and Asia. Some studies suggest that it could potentially become invasive (
Qin and Wu 2013
and
Wirth et al. 2020a
). This species had only been recorded once in Hungary, with one specimen found in a flower bed near the parent plants at
Pecs
(S Hungary) (
Wirth et al. 2020a
). In the new locality in Budapest, we could not find the propagule source nearby.
