Comment: The original description is based on a unique male from "
Mauritanie
,
Tagant
Fogh" (
COIFFAIT 1966
). The species was subsequently recorded from the Canary Islands (
ASSING 2008
). The above specimens from the Yeminitic island
Socotra
represent a new country record and considerably expand the known distribution of this species. The habitus and the male sexual characters are illustrated in
Figs 8-13
.
