Differential diagnosis . Habitus ( Figs 89–94 ), body size 14–17.5 mm . Body color from brown to black with bluish luster (in original description indicated that body color is reddish brown, but in fact, half of paratypes are black with bluish luster), shiny; head not too broad with the eyes moderately prominent; interocular cavity comparatively shallow, longitudinal grooves parallel in back part und deeply impressed, extended to the transverse impression between occiput and neck; pronotum moderately long; elytra oval-shaped with the lateral constriction slightly marked; gibbosity high but the concavity poorly marked and placed rather near the base; sculpture shallow. Aedeagus ( Fig. 128 ). Endophallus ( Fig. 95 ), in overall appearance similar to T. planiceps . Protuberances: VB relatively small; BL pair, small and laterally protruding; DB relatively large and evidently biforked at apex; median part of endophallus elongated; V small, badly delimited; VA relatively large; apical protuberances not studied; flagellum long and thin. Comments . T. brunnipes Motschulsky, 1861: 628 was synonimized by Naviaux (2002: 77) with T. cyanipes . Study of the image of holotype (female, by monotypy, deposited in ZMUM), kindly provided to us by Andrey Matalin, showed that it conspecific with T. oblita . According to the Article 23 of ICZN (1999) T, brunnipes is the oldest valid name, and thus has the priority. Distribution. Philippines (Luzon, Mindanao).
