Based on the shape of surstyli in dorsal view, this species is similar to T. pistacia Majnon-Jahromi & Kehlmaier in Majnon-Jahromi et al. 2017b ( Fig. 32A ) and T. argyratoides De Meyer, 1995 ( Fig. 5A ). It differs from both species by having long pale setae on the hind femur. Moreover, Tomosvaryella pistacia has wider epandrium and its surstyli are more angulate in lateral view ( Fig. 32A, D, E ).
