Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Hirayama (1985) . Diagnosis (female). Separate eye facet anterior to the eye. Maxilla 1 palp articulation obscure. Maxilla 2 inner plate with facial setae. Coxae 3–7 with facial setae. Gnathopods 1 and 2 bases with setose posterior margins. Pereopods 5–6 bases with facial setae. Epimeron 3 posteroventral corner sinuous with bi-dentate cusp. Note. Hirayama synonymizes Leucothoe incisa Nagata, 1965 with this species, but the Nagata’s description is vague without illustrations and needs to be examined before confirmed as Leucothoe bidens . Male (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown. Habitat. Among mud and Zostera Linnaeus, 1753 ; 4 m Host. Unknown. Distribution. East China Sea: West Kyushu, Tomioka Bay, Japan ( Hirayama 1985 ). Seto Inland Sea: Japan ( Nagata 1965a ).
