Female
(macropterous): Body yellow, with obvious brown markings as follows: pronotum at middle, mesonotum on sides, metanotum except a median yellow longitudinal line, meso and metapleura, abdominal tergum I almost completely except along posterior margin, II medially, III–VII medially in anterior half or somewhat more (
Fig. 23
). Antennal segements II–VIII dark brown, III somewhat lighter, III pale yellow. Fore wing clavus dark. Legs yellow. Ocellar crescent red.
Major
setae dark. Antennae 7-segmented, III–IV with sensorium forked. Head wider than long, ocellar setae pair III small and arising just outside ocellar triangle; postocular setae pairs II & IV reduced (
Fig. 4
). Pronotum wider than long, with two pairs of long posteroangular setae; posterior margin with three pairs of setae. Metanotal sculpture of widely spaced longitudinal lines; median setae long, arising behind anterior margin; paired campaniform sensilla absent (
Fig. 11
). Fore wing first vein with three setae on distal half; second vein with row of about 12 setae; clavus with 5–6 marginal setae. Abdominal tergites without sculpture medially; tergite II with three lateral marginal setae; tergite VIII posteromarginal with comb complete, of fine closely spaced microtrichia (
Fig. 18
); tergite X split longitudinally except at base. Abdominal pleurotergites and sternites without discal setae.

Remarks.
This species was described from
India
, and according to
Bhatti (1980)
it shares many character states with the Indian species
dorax
that remains known only from a single female. However, it differs in having the posteromarginal comb on abdominal tergite VIII with fine and closely spaced microtrichia.
