)
Length:
Male
holotype
, 5.7 mm; male
paratype
, 5.4 mm; female
paratype
, 6.4 mm.
Male
holotype
.
Head (
Figs 9, 10
), in dorsal view, well produced anteriorly, anterior margin rounded; crown with median length 2/3 interocular width and 2/5 transocular width; epicranial suture weakly visible, temporal and frontogenal sutures distinct. Pronotum (
Figs 9, 10
), in dorsal view, with width approximately equal to transocular width. Forewings (
Fig. 9
) with membrane distinct on apical portion, including apical cells and apex of anteapical cells.
Dorsum (
Figs 9, 10
) dark brown with numerous small yellow maculae. Crown with yellow line behind eyes. Face dark brown with yellow maculae on frons, genae, and antennal ledges. Venter dark brown. Legs pale yellow.
Pygofer (
Fig. 11
), in lateral view, with macrosetae on apical portion and extending anteriorly along ventral margin; apical portion with apicoventral inner process bearing numerous setae. Subgenital plates (
Fig. 12
), in ventral view, narrowing gradually toward apex, with macrosetae near outer margin of ventral surface, and with some setae on dorsal surface. Styles (
Fig. 13
), in dorsal view, extending posteriorly beyond apex of connective; with distinct median lobe on outer margin; portion beyond lobe curved; apex truncate. Connective (
Fig. 13
), in dorsal view, Y-shaped. Aedeagus (
Fig. 14
), in lateral view, with shaft slightly curved ventrally; apical portion expanded with distinct dorsal lobe; median portion with laterodorsal expansion bearing small setae. Paraphyses (
Figs 15, 16
), in dorsal view, X-shaped; pair of rami directed anteriorly narrow, pair directed posteriorly broadened toward apex; stalk approximately as long as anterior rami. Anal tube (segment X), in ventral view, with pair of apical areas on ventral margin with setae similar to those of pygofer process.

Exogonia flavomaculata
sp. nov.
: (9) body of male holotype, lateral view; (10) head, pronotum, and mesonotum of male paratype, dorsal view; (11-16) male holotype: (11) pygofer, valve, and subgenital plate, lateral view; (12) subgenital plate, ventral view; (13) connective and style, dorsal view; (14) aedeagus and basal portion of gonoduct, lateral view; (15) paraphyses, lateral view; (16) paraphyses, dorsal view.
FIGURES 17–19.
Exogonia flavomaculata
sp. nov.
, female paratype: (17) sternite VII, ventral view; (18) pygofer, lateral view; (19) second valvula, lateral view (the arrow indicates the truncate basal limit).
Female genitalia (based on
one paratype
).
Sternite VII (
Fig. 17
) broader than long; lateral margins approximately rectilinear; posterior margin with distinct concavity medially; surface with small setae, mostly on posterior portion, and very few longitudinal striae on median portion. Pygofer (
Fig. 18
), in lateral view, with posterior margin narrowly rounded; macrosetae on posterior portion, extending anteriorly along ventral margin. Second valvulae (
Fig. 19
), in lateral view, moderately expanded beyond basal curvature; shaft narrowing slightly toward subacute apex; preapical prominence small but distinct; teeth extending from expanded basal portion to apical portion, basal teeth large and rectangular, followed by gradually smaller ones; teeth and dorsal and ventral margins of anteapical portion of shaft bearing denticles.
Intraspecific variation (based on all male and female
paratypes
)
. Crown sometimes with anterior margin narrowly rounded and epicranial, temporal, and frontogenal sutures very distinct. Female
paratype
with median length of crown 1/2 transocular width.
Etymology.

flavomaculata
, is of Latin derivation and refers to the small yellow maculae of dorsum.
