Habitat.
Inhabits tropical evergreen forest, chaco, and savannas. The species roosts in caves, roofs, fence rocks, hollows trees, and buildings (
Emmons & Feer 1997

). Three specimens were caught in São Domingos, GO, in nets open near pastures (
13°46’ 17.03” S
,
46° 37’ 30.44” W
), and two, from Alvorada do Norte, GO, were captured in front of a weir (
14° 30’ 21.09” S

46° 45’ 29.37” W
).
