had been treated as an Oriental species in Guglielmone

(2014, 2020) but is now regarded as a species confined to remote Pacific islands. The only known specimens of this tick are those collected in 1945 on 
<collectingCountry id="F3289BD00F55C755BB3E8A15B434FE8D" box="[278,346,295,321]" name="Guam" pageId="62" pageNumber="63">Guam</collectingCountry>
and used by
