Besides
James (1973a
: 26.19), who was the first to mention this species occurring in
Paraguay
, this species was also mentioned for
Paraguay
by
James & McFadden (1982: 13)
. It is not surprising that this species has already been stated to occur in
Paraguay
, as this is the most common and widespread species of
Sargus
in the Americas. However, a formal record from
Paraguay
had not been provided so far.
