TYPE
LOCALITY. — Guyana, New River.
DISTRIBUTION. — This GS endemic occurs throughout the region.
TAXONOMIC REMARKS. — Venezuelan populations may correspond to a related species (Castroviejo-Fisher
et al.
2011) but the lowland populations as in Mitaraka most likely correspond to the nominal species.
HABITAT IN MITARAKA. — Many males calling several meters above the Alama creek were heard.
