DISTRIBUTION. — This GS endemic occurs throughout the region. TAXONOMIC REMARKS. — Venezuelan populations may correspond to a related species (Castroviejo-Fisher et al. 2011) but the lowland populations as in Mitaraka most likely correspond to the nominal species.
