Zolotuhin ( Fig. 48 , site 15) . Biology . Inhabits xerothermic biotopes and open landscapes. Adults occur from the beginning of May, active in the morning hours. The caterpillars feed on herbaceous plants. Distribution in Russia . Recorded from the Volga-Don Region ( Sinev & Lovtsova, 2019 ). In the Volga Region, it is known from the Astrakhan , Saratov , and Ulyanovsk Oblast ( Anikin et al. , 2017 ). Psychidae , Oiketicinae
