Urticaceae : Urtica dioica L. Leaf mine. ( Fig. 75 ) Initially narrow and following the leaf margin, later expanding to a broad blotch. The mines we observed were almost uniformly blackish, with paler greenish-brown patches only in the newest portions where the larvae were actively feeding. Puparium.
