, in having the posterior projections of the central sclerite of the hypandrium slender, pointed, and in having a dense field or tuft of macrosetae on each half of the central sclerite of the hypandrium.
Male. Color
(in 80% ethanol). Body dark brown, with cream spots. Head (
Fig. 2
), with two oblique dark brown bands, from the inner margin of each compound eye to the epistomal sulcus, surrounding the antennal fossae. Compound eyes black; ocelli hyaline. Vertex light cream, with two slender white bands and small dark spots. Postclypeus with converging pale and brown slender bands on each side, middle part of postclypeus cream. Anteclypeus and labrum pale brown. Genae with pale brown anterior half; posterior half cream. Postgena white. Antenna: scape brown, pedicel and flagella pale brown. Maxillary palps creamy;
Mx
4 with distal third brown. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown. Thoracic pleura brown, except for the creamy metapleura. Legs: fore- and middle coxae and trochanters brown; hindcoxae and trochanters pale cream; fore- and middle femora light cream with small, dark brown spot distally; hind femora pale cream, except for an apical brown spot; tibiae brown, distally darker; tarsus 1 brown; tarsi 2–3 dark brown. Forewings hyaline, with a pigmented marginal brown band from R4+5 to proximal ends of 1A and 2A; pterostigma dark brown, with a mesal hyaline area as illustrated (
Fig. 1
). A brown spot at wing margin of vein R2+3; marginal pigmented band with hyaline fenestrae from cell m1 to distal end of cell 2a. Hindwings with pale brown triangular spots at the ends of R4+5, M1-3, Cu1 and Cu2; cell 1A pale brown. Abdomen dark brown, with small, pale cream irregular spots. Hypandrium, epiproct and paraprocts light cream.
Morphology.
Head (
Fig. 2
) H/MxW: 1.39; compound eyes large, H/d: 2.39; IO/MxW: 0.82; vertex at the same level as the upper border of the compound eyes; outer cusp of lacinial tip broad, with 7–8 denticles. Forewings (
Fig. 1
) L/W: 2.56; pterostigma: lp/wp: 5.23; M seven branched, M7 distally forked; areola postica: la/ha: 1.37, high, distally rounded, posterior margin sinuous. Hindwings (
Fig. 1
) l/w: 2.83; M three branched. Hypandrium (
Fig. 4
), lateral sclerites elongate, clearly separated from the central sclerite. Phallosome (
Fig. 5
) anteriorly Vshaped, with slender side struts; external parameres membranous, slender, elongate, with rounded slightly sclerotized apex; two pairs of endophallic sclerites; anterior pair weakly sclerotized and laminar, symmetric, curved, with wide base next to base of posterior sclerite, apex truncate. Paraprocts (
Fig. 3
) oval, with short setae posteriorly; sensory fields with
3 3–34
trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct (
Fig. 3
) convex anteriorly, almost trapeziform, broadly rounded posteriorly, with setae as illustrated and a field of microsetae along posterior border.

Female. Color
(in 80% ethanol). Body, legs, epiproct, paraprocts and wings as in the males. Head with white bands wider and less obvious than in the male vertex. Subgenital plate with large, pigmented lateral areas, joined posteriorly. Gonapophyses brown; ninth sternum orange.
Morphology.
As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head (
Fig. 7
) H/MxW: 1.47; compound eyes smaller than in the male, H/d: 2.84; IO/MxW: 0.82; vertex slightly above the level of the upper border of the compound eyes; outer cusp of lacinial tip broad, with 6-7 denticles. Forewings (
Fig. 6
) L/W: 2.59; pterostigma: lp/wp: 5.12, long, wider in the middle; M six branched, M6 distally forked; areola postica: la/ha: 1.43, high, rounded apically. Hindwings (
Fig. 6
