Comments . When alive, this species shows three transverse fasciae of reddish-rose pubescence. This color changes to light rose in preserved specimens. Geographical distribution . Described from Brazil , Paraná: Rio Negro, and mentioned from Brazil , Minas Gerais and Santa Catarina. Herein we include São Paulo in the distribution. Specimens examined . BRAZIL , Minas Gerais: Poços de Caldas, 3 males , 6 females , XII.1976 (M. A. Monné leg.); São Paulo, male, without data or collector. Santa Catarina: Seara (Nova Teutonia), male, 6.XI.1941 (F. Plaumann leg.). All specimens deposited in MNRJ.
