From the Rothschild Collection. COMMENTS : Hartert did not designate a type in the original description. Later, he ( Hartert, 1920: 500 ) listed as type of colonus the single male from Tanahdjampea, thereby designating it the lectotype . Paralectotypes are: AMNH 653321–653323, females from Tanahdjampea, AMNH 653324, male, and AMNH 653325, female, from Kalao, all collected by Everett in December 1895 . This nominal subspecies was not listed by Watson et al. (1986c: 522) .
