The new species is named fOr its subgenital plate with characteristic lateral lObes. Remarks. The new species resembles Elimaea ( Poaefoliana ) jacobsonii Karny, 1926 in male stridulatOry area with acute prOcess On left tegmen and rOunded prOcess On right tegmen as well as stridulatOry file with distinct teeth in basal three fOurths, dense and small teeth in the remaining area. But the species can be easily distinguished frOm the latter in male cerci with a stOut and shOrt apical spine; lateral lObes Of male subgenital plate with lObular expansiOn On internal margins and external margins directing Outwards; genitalia with a pair Of shOrt lateral lObes, apical areas sclerOtized and with denticles On margins. Distribution. China ( Yunnan ).
