Antenna with 27 flagellomeres. Median flagellomeres approximately 3 x longer than wide. Occipital carina arms rather straight on either side of midline, forming an angle, medially narrowly obliterated. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, precoxal sulcus foveate-rugose, specular area large and glossy. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Fore wing vein 1-M strongly curved. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.2 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.5 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.5 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 0.7 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia with comb of specialised adpressed setae medially and ventrally. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobe of 1
st
tergite weakly produced and evenly rounded. Midlongitudinal carina of 3
rd
tergite well differentiated and complete.
Etymology. Named after the young witch character Magrat Garlick in the Terry Pratchett
Discworld
novels.
Note. Keyed out twice because condition of occipital carina could be interpretted as either complete or medially obliterated (albeit narrowly).
