Body length 5.5 mm , fore wing length 4.7 mm and antenna length approx 6 mm . Antenna with 40 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 2.1 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete, mediodorsally more or less rounded, forming a faint midlogitudinal carina running to stemmaticum, ventrally lamelliform and joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron rugulose anteriorly, rugulose to longitudinally striate dorsally, aciculate medially and posteriorly, precoxal sulcus weaklu impressed rugulose-striate. Midlongitudinal carina of propodeum present on anterior 0.6, lateral carina present. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2.1 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.45 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.3 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.27 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.4 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose.Hind wing vein m-cu represented by a short nebulous smudge, interstitial. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified setae medially. Claws with pecten of fine teeth on basal lobe. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite virtually absent. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite present on basal 0.45. Etymology. In reference to its apparent closeness to A. castaneus sp. nov.
