Body length 4.5 mm , fore wing length 3.6 mm and antenna length 6.0 mm. Antenna with 40 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed. Median flagellomeres 3.0 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete, irregular mediodorsally, joining hypostomal carina ventrally. Mesopleuron largely aciculate with longitudinal rugulose sculpture dorsally along whole length, precoxal sulcus weaky impressed, rugulose, speculum absent. Propodeal carina broken posteromedially. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.7 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with very narrow glabrous line opposite 1-M. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.45 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.05 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.96 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.4 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws with pecten of fine teeth on basal lobe. Basal Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite present on anterior 0.7. T3 carina distinct on basal 0.7. FIGURE 184. A. valinus sp. nov. In reference to the amino acid valine coded by bases 1783–1785 that distinguishes this and the closely related A. etvalinus sp. n. from A. gaga sp. nov. and A. agagg sp. nov. Notes. An additional specimen was sequenced but was unfortunately eaten by ants: sex unknown, Thailand , Kamchanaburi, Thongpapoom, Chemical Farm 3 (where pesticide used), 20.vii.2009 , Malaise trap, Areekul- Butcher (voucher BCLDQ01311, Genbank HM435229 ).
