Body length 5.0 mm, fore wing length 5.0 mm and antenna length 5.8 mm . Antenna with 38 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed. Median flagellomeres approximately 2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina complete and rounded medio-dorsally, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate with weak rugulose sculpture superimposed, precoxal sulcus weak, rather narrow, with slightly coarser sculpture; speculum distinct, anteriorly with very fine coriatious sculpure, posteriorly almost entirely smooth. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.4 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.25 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.2 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.4 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.3 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu indicated by short pigmented fold and slightly increased setal density, slightly antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite moderately large, posteriorly convex. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite distinctly differentiated on anterior 0.6 of tergite. Etymology. In reference to the coarsely sculptured occiput.
