Body length 5.7 mm , fore wing length 5.0 mm and antenna length 7.0 mm. Antenna with 46 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres 2 x longer than wide. Occipital carina narrowly incomplete mediodorsally where carina arms curve anteriorly. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, rugulose anterodorsally, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, hardy differentiated, speculum absent. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Setosity of wings generally rather sparse. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.75 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with distinct glabrous lozenge-shaped zone. Fore wing vein 3-SR 0.75 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.75 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 3.9 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.95 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein M+CU virtually straight. Hind wing vein m-cu indicated only by a wing fold and slightly denser setosity, interstital. Hind tibia with comb of adpressed setae apicomedially and ventrally. Claws with 3 or 4 short pectinal teeth on basal half of basal lobe. Baso-lateral flange of 1st metasomal tergite angularly produced and distinctly concave posteriorly and posterior margin of lobe nearly transverse or even reclivous, projecting far beyond the small swelling associated with the spiracle. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite strong and complete. Etymology. Named after the character of the same name from the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels.
