Schneider ) (det. Br. v.W. as Nocarodes cyanipes ) (det. Ramme as Nocaracris sp.) (det. Cejchan , 1962 as Paranocaracris sp.) ( NMW ) . Distribution. Georgia : Gori, Tbilisi , Svaneti; Azerbaijan : Baku . New for Azerbaijan ( Fig. 843 ). Remarks. The type specimens ( syntypes ) were collected from several localities. One male from Achalkalaki, Gori preserved in the NHMUK is designated as lectotype of this species. Inner side of hind tibia is dirty red in the type specimens. One female from Baku has yellowish hind tibia, but it belongs undoubtedly to this species. This old specimen may have lost its natural color because of treatment by alcohol. One female not listed in the Material examined in the ZIN has hind tibia with red inner surface lightened basally to body colour. The label data of the type specimens of N. rimansonae ventosus as in the given Material examined above. Mistshenko ( Bey-Bienko & Mistshenko 1951: 354 ) gave the type locality as “ Georgia : Svanetia”. Mistshenko ( Bey-Bienko & Mistshenko, 1951 ) distinguished P. rimansonae ventosus Mistshenko by the effaced tubercles of body and occiput and the convex occiput but they are not stable characters in the specimens, not only in the listed here but also other specimens in the collections and it is not possible to distinguish both subspecies using these characters.
