( Fig. 2 ) Material . Holotype – ex. ( PIN ¹ 3149/980), Western Mongolia , Gobi-Altay ajmag, SW of Ikhes-Nuur Lake and Darbi-Somon settlement, Lower Cretaceous , Lower Neocomian , Gurvan-Eren Formation , Zereg Formation. Description . Body light brown. Rostrum long, 5.48 times longer than the width, 1.47 times longer than pronotum, equal width on profemora. Frons convex, narrow. Eyes not large, almost round. Temples shorter than eye. Pronotum weakly elongated, with lateral carina. Disk, probably, largely punctate. Elytra weakly convex, with distinct striae. Intervals wide, possibly, weakly convex. Procoxa located near the prothorax basis. Precoxal part of the prothorax elongated. Metathorax wide. Femora weakly widened. Length of the extant part of body: 2.5 mm . Figs. 1-6. Scale 1.0 mm. Diagnosis . This new species differs from Oxycorynoides mongolicus Zherikhin, 1986 by the stronger widened basis of the rostrum, smaller eyes and larger punctate pronotum. Etymology . The name is derived from the location “Gurvan” – “gurvanensis ”. Distribution . Gurvan-Ereny-Nuruu.
