The specific epithet is the latinised adjective of Bamar, the largest ethnic group native to Myanmar . Diagnosis. Based on male genitalia, the new species is closely similar to A. camory Malicky 2012 , described from Nepal . It differs from this species by the smaller size and, in the male genitalia, by the form of the intermediate appendages, the apically upcurved superior appendages, the straight parameres each with short, basal process, and the presence of a few black spines in the middle of the posterior margin of tergum VIII. Description. Length of each forewing 9.1–9.5 mm . Head and thorax brown, eyes without short hairs, ocelli white, occipital and pronotal warts with long, recurved, brown setae; palpi and scapes light brown, flagellomeres yellow. Legs pale brown, foretibiae without ventral row of black spines, ventral groove on each femur present, praetarsus without ventral spines, spurs 1.2.2. Forewings brown, with scattered pale spots in the membrane, darker spots along Cu2 and A1+2+3, veins of anastomosis darkened ( Fig. 19 ), hind wings membranous, venation as in A. mishmicus . Male genitalia ( Figs 10A–10C ). Posterior margin of eighth tergite with small patch of few black spines. Segment IX straight on posterior margins in lateral view, posterolateral lobepresent on each side; superior appendages long, apically curved dorsad, intermediate appendages in vertical position with broad base and outwardly bent dorsal tips. Inferior appendages short and rounded distally. Phallic apparatus with membranous aedeagus, pair of broad, melanized parameres bearing small denticules along dorsal margin, and short acute process at dorsal base. Female genitalia. Terga VII and VIII with wrinkled surface; distal margin of sternum VIII modified to form a large, vulvar scale. Segment X forming two quadrilateral lobes meeting on dorsal margin.
