Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Discussion: Electrophoretic data ( Baverstock et al., 1981 ) and spermatozoal morphology (Breed, 1983) clustered P. hermannsburgensis with most other species in Pseudomys , but phallic morphology interpreted by Lidicker and Brylski (1987) indicated closer affinity to species they placed in Leggadina .
