( Figs 163–169 ) Diagnosis. Belonging to the assemblage of species that does not present the forewing with the apical margin of some of its cells scalloped, but unlike these, it presents a hypandrium with two widely separated short lateroposterior processes ( Fig. 168 ), directed outward and epiproct with strongly convex anterior margin. Phallosome with subparallel sides, anterior margin broad and somewhat rounded, with anterolateral processes, wide and somewhat rounded anterior margin, with anterolateral processes, short side struts, posteriorly with short acuminate processes on its inner margin ( Fig. 169 ) Male. Color. Head ( Fig. 165 ) brown, genae darker. Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Antenna pale brown; maxillary palps brown. Forewing ( Fig. 163 ) with pale brown and dark brown spots, hyaline area with light brown spots, pterostigma brown, darker apically, alar margin dotted, veins light brown to brown. Hindwing ( Fig. 164 ) smoked, with veins brown and dotted alar margin. Legs: coxae and trochanter dark brown, femur dark brown proximally, light brown distally, with subapical brown spot, tibiae and tarsi pale brown, t2–t3 darker. Hypandrium, paraprocts, epiproct and phallosome pale brown. Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head ( Fig. 165 ): H/MxW: 1.25; compound eyes large, H/D: 1.87; IO/MxW: 0.55. Vertex emarginated, below upper level of compound eyes. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with eight denticles; Mx4/Mx2: 1.34. Forewings ( Fig. 163 ): L/W: 2.69. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 2.50, areola postica almost as tall as wide, apically angled: al/ah: 1.22. Hindwings ( Fig. 164 ): l/w: 2.69. Hypandrium cup-shaped ( Fig. 168 ), anterior border sharply concave; postero-lateral angle with short rounded processes, distally directed outwards, with several setae and macrosetae. Phallosome basally broad and concave, external parameres widened, distally acuminate and joined apically ( Fig. 169 ). Paraprocts elongated, with two acuminate posterior processes ( Fig. 167 ), with a field of setae on distal area; sensory fields with 16 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 166 ) oval, anterior margin strongly convex, field with setae and microsetae scattered, as illustrated. Measurements.
