Troglophilus neglectus
(Krauss, 1879)
From the CR, it was first reported as
T. cavicola
(Holuša
et al.
1999)
on the basis of misidentification, and it has been considered to be introduced (Kočárek
et al.
1999). In Moravia, it has been found only in several caves in the environs of Hlubočky (Holuša
et al.
1999). In
Bohemia
, it inhabits caves, cellars, bunkers, etc. in the area of České
Švýcarsko
NP (Chládek
et al.
2000). It is wingless, and only parthenogenetic females are known from the CR (Koèárek
et al.
2005).
Cave-crickets of the genus
Troglophilus
are distributed mostly in karst areas of South Europe.
T. neglectus
is a European species reported from
Germany
, southern
Austria
, northern
Italy
, from the countries of former
Yugoslavia
(described from Istria), and from
Greece
