Distribution . Polistes nigritarsis was recorded from the northwestern part, middle and Tay Nguyen areas in the south of Vietnam . This species could be distributed throughout the country. This species was recorded from the northeastern part (West Bengal, Meghalaya) and southern part (Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu) of India . Likes Polistes delhiensis , it has a disjunct distribution and intensive field work probably will fill the gap in the distribution of the species.
