Remarks.
Two of the three subspecies of this species viz.,
E. aenealis dimorphalis
Osthelder, 1938
and
E. aenealis obscura
Toll, 1948
, have been described from
Iran
(
Osthelder 1938

Goater 2005
). The
type
localities of the former and latter subspecies are Hesarchal, Sardab valley in
Elburz
area (
Osthelder 1938
) and Mirabi Mt. in NE
Iran
(
Toll 1948
), respectively. The examined specimens have a gray forewing with yellowishbrown tint that match with
E. aenealis dimorphalis
.
