Comments
Unlike
X. nunoi
sp. nov.
, the specimens of
X. xukrixi
were collected in the Atlantic Forest areas, more specifically in the Riparian Forest that borders the Poções River. As already discussed, this species inhabits the Atlantic Forest (
Fianco
et al
. 2019b
). Unfortunately, due to the low number of sampled individuals is quite hard to confirm in which biomes this species is present. Perhaps more sampling efforts will find some records in the Cerrado, but, to date, the Atlantic Forest is the only one.
