French Guiana Druentica scissa (Herrich-Schäffer) : Cock (2003: 50, 51, fig. 19 ♂ ) This identification was confirmed by genitalia dissection of one male specimen collected in Trinidad , which is a perfect match for D. patawa , newly described from French Guiana ( Herbin 2016 ). Therefore, this is the first report of this species from outside of French Guiana . Prior to the description of D. patawa , Cock (2003) referred to this species as D. scissa , a presumably Amazonian species of uncertain identity. Druentica patawa has primarily been collected from forested areas of the Northern Range, both in the valleys and on ridge tops, where it is not rare. FIGURES 17–29. Mimallonidae of Trinidad. 17.
