A. columbianus
has the clypeus with the median lobe quadrate and with a apical median tooth; the frontal angle of the ocellae forming a right angle; the ocelli small; the genitalia with the paramere very wide, rounded, and with the ventral and dorsal margins straight with a short apical projection; the basivolsela with the inner margin angled and with an inner projection; the aedeagus with the basal portion angled and wide, and the apical portion wide and as long as the basal portion; and the apodeme parallel.
