Diagnosis
: Physonect siphonophores with simple heart-shaped mature nectophores, bearing only upper and lower lateral ridges. Ascending and descending pallial canal present; straight radial canals on nectosac. Tentacles bearing two forms of tentilla; the more proximal ones, with spirally coiled cnidobands, transforming into the more distal ones, with a zigzagged cnidoband. Monoecious.
