Remarks.
This is the first record of
Ctenoneura
in
Guangxi
. The distribution of
Ctenoneura
in
China
is known as
Yunnan
, and we also recorded this genus in
Hainan
Island
.
We
expected that
Ctenoneura
should be found in
Guangxi
, as well; but we failed to find any species during our collection trip to
Guangxi
in 2015.
Fortunately
, we found this unique female individual in a mixture of cockroaches in the collection of
MHBU
, although in bad condition. This individual resembles the female of
C. heixuanfeng
, with dark coloration, but is slightly larger than the female of
C. heixuanfeng
, and the distribution indicates it may be a new species. We record it here for future work.
