Type
locality
: Pantelleria Island, Montagna Grande.
Diagnosis
: Small (3.0–4.0 mm) globose-elongate. Epistoma impressed, clypeus flat and rather shallowly longitudinally impressed in middle. Elytra clothed with coppery-golden scales just slightly imbricate and long thin almost recumbent setae. Aedeagus with subtrapezoidal apex.

Ecology
: Adults have been collected at the end of June in
Pinus
undergrowth and under Mediterranean shrubs. Possibly the phenology is similar to other
Pseudomeira
, namely with adults aestivating and reappearing in autumn.
