MAYOTTE : Pengoualajou , 2.x.2019 , 1♀ , V. Nicolas lgt. & det. ( VNBF ) . Biology. This species has been found on Senna singueana ( Fabaceae ) in Mayotte (V. Nicolas, pers. observ.). Distribution. Comoros : Anjouan , Grande Comore , Mayotte (new records); Madagascar ( Cachan 1952 ); India : Puducherry ( Signoret 1851 ). Comments. This species was described from Pondichery [= Puducherry ] by Signoret (1851) , but has never been reported from India (cf. Atkinson 1888 , Distant 1902 , Salini & Vitaktamath 2015). This suggests that the type specimen(s) were mislabelled. Accordingly, we treat the species here as subendemic to Comoros and Madagascar , and it is not a widespread species.
