Asonicogryllus kwanghua : A. male; B. female; C. male head in front view; D. male head in lateral view. Description. Male. Hind tibia with 5 pairs of dorsal spines, three inner apical spurs and three outer spurs ( Fig. 2 H ), epiproct normal ( Fig. 2 I ). Genitalia: posterior epiphallic lobes elongate and apically little curved upwards, mesal posterior epiphallus protruding but little concave in middle, posterior edge of ectoparameron large and swollen; as long as posterior epiphallic lobes ( Fig. 3 ABC). Female. Similar to male; forewing 1.5 times the length of pronotum ( Fig. 2 B ), ovipositor long and straight ( Fig. 2 J ). Coloration. Hatchlings: head light yellow and antennae white ( Fig. 4 A ). Nymphs: posterior part of head with a white stripe, antennae white with black apex ( Fig. 4 B ). Adults: almost black, forewing brown ( Fig. 4 CD). Etymology. Male: body length 12.02–13.06, pronotum length 2.59–2.88, hind femur length 6.80–7.40, forewing length 6.01–6.38 Female: body length 11.87–13.32, pronotum length 2.54–2.80, hind femur length 6.74–7.05, forewing length 3.57–3.63, ovipositor length 6.61–7.17. Song. The song rate is about 98 pulse groups/minute. One pulse group consists of 9.029±1.243 pulses. The duration of pulse group is 0.419± 0.068s . The interval of pulse group is 0.205± 0.032s , as in Fig. 5 . Distribution. China ( Yunnan ).
